The Cauldron of Ceridwen

A magical Welsh fairy tale where a wicked witch brews a spell in her cauldron, to give the receiver of the first three drops of her potion other-worldly powers and abilities.

See humans transform into creatures and a poor slave-boy become the great Welsh Bard 'Taliesin'.

Using table top puppetry, shadow and large scale puppets this dramatic piece of puppet theatre makes an ideal show for anyone interested in fairy tales, Welsh mythology or adventurous puppetry. Inspired by the story of Taliesin from the Mabinogion and with bilingual (English - Welsh) soundtrack this is an ideal show for schools, halls, theatres and events.

Originally developed for Venue Cymru and then further developed with the kind help of Abergavenny Theatre and Llanfoist Primary school.
