About PuppetSoup as teachers of puppetry
We are friendly, fun and experienced teachers who are fully insured and enhanced DBS checked.
We teach every week in schools and community groups and also offer fun online classes to a wide variety of people.

We are experienced at working with different age groups and a whole range of abilities and disabilities. We are a disabled led company so we are sensitive to a variety of learning needs.
Both Directors of PuppetSoup have over 15 years of experience teaching and performing puppetry and both hold Honours degrees specifically in Puppetry from the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama in London.
You can be assured that you are hiring seasoned professionals who can deliver a quality experience to your group.

A selection of some of the puppetry courses and workshops available to your group

A few of the workshops we can provide to your group could include:
Puppet Playtime – For younger puppet enthusiasts – we bring the puppets, they play!

Shadow Puppetry – Make, play and perform beautiful shadow puppets – suitable for all ages. This course can also be delivered online.

Meet the puppets – We bring professional puppets from our five star shows for your group to meet. Participants can hold and touch the puppets and have a go with them if they would like to.
​
Puppet Making from Recycled Materials - Participants learn to reuse their recycled materials to make fantastic puppets and help the environment. This course can also be delivered online.
​
Play in a day - A very special whole day workshop where PuppetSoup works with your class to make a range of puppets and then perform a puppetry play at the end of the day.

Online classes with pre-made puppet making packs sent to your group - PuppetSoup are experienced online teachers, ensuring that participants stay engaged through an exciting and fun filled online puppet making workshop. Every person receives a hand made puppet making pack from PuppetSoup (sent to your group in advance of the course) and then the participants are taken through designing, assembling and decorating their puppet. For ages 5 - 11yrs.
